Pins 4 Pedals is a non-profit charitable organization founded by Denny and Linda Ellsworth-Moore over 18 years ago. They are dedicated to helping the children of Greater Lansing and aim to empower and give them hope for a better future.
The Moore's and event committee have raised more than $450,000 in donations and donated hundreds of bikes. With our dedication, compassion and commitment, we strive to make a difference in those lives we touch. Ellsworth-Moore says "The bike drive is important because this simple gift makes a big impact on a child of any age."
Linda is an experienced Realtor at Coldwell Banker Realty who believes every child deserves a fair chance in this uncertain world. This fundraiser warms her heart. The Moores founded Pins and Pedals more than 18 years ago, and since then, they’ve raised more than $450, 000 and hundreds of bikes for Child and Family Charities. Pins and Pedals also partners with Coldwell Banker Realty during Christmas for the Gifting Tree initiative, which provided more than $3,000 worth of gifts last year to local children. Over the years, the Moores’ work has caught the attention of many within the industry. In 2020, they earned the Good Neighbor Award from both the Greater Lansing Association of REALTORS® and the Michigan REALTORS®. And in 2021, they were one of 10 finalists nominated for the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award. While they didn’t walk away with the title, they did receive an honorable mention as well as the title of “Web Choice Favorite,” earning more than $3,000 in grant money for their charity. The Good Neighbor Awards “recognize REALTORS® who make an extraordinary impact on their communities through volunteer work.” “We were honored to be nominated alongside some very deserving REALTORS® who are all doing amazing things within their communities,” said Linda Ellsworth-Moore. “We only hope our work will continue to grow and that it will inspire others to get involved and give back.”
